Tia and Tamera Mowry Conjure Up Some More Fun with Latest Movie
Twitches aired on Disney in 2005. It was a big hit. Now Tia and Tamera Mowry are back in Twitches Too, which is set to premiere on Disney Channel in October 2007.
Tia and Tamera Mowry play witches who are trying to hone in on their new-found secret, learning how to control their powers, and getting to know and love their real mom in Twitches Too. And, yes, they must battle the Darkness once again. This movie is set to air on the Disney Channel in October 2007, as part of the Disney Channel Original Movies series.
In the 2005 Twitches movie, the girls were unaware of the fact that they were teen witches, until one day they fatefully discovered each other (kind of reminds us of when they met in Sister Sister), and realized they had mystical powers. In this new movie, they move to Coventry, their home land, and must learn to use their powers more effectively.
Camryn (played by Tamera Mowry) is a high-spirited witch, while Alex (played by Tia Mowry) is more level-headed. Alex wants to continue to live a normal life and looks forward to starting college, while Camryn is all too ready to be the royal princess that she was destined to be. Through all of these changes, the Darkness is still threatening Coventry and the girls must learn all they can about their powers to help save their home land again.
As if they did not have enough on their plates, the girls discover that their father, Aron, who selflessly gave up his own powers to save his baby twins in the first movie, may be alive and living in New York. Will they find him? Will they all be a happy family living peacefully in Coventry? You will have to watch to find out.

Tia and Tamera Mowry are no strangers to the television and movie industry. They started their career as Tia and Tamera in the hit sitcom, "Sister Sister," which is also a Disney television show. The show aired from 1994 to 1999, and you can still catch re-run episodes today. They have also made appearances in shows such as "Smart Guy," "Are You Afraid of the Dark," and "Full House."
